OK here is the skinny on the CASINO GAMMING issue

We got a hot tip for everyone! People who are attracted to gambling are going to find a way to gamble no matter what laws are on the books!

The real question is this: "What Will legalized Expanded Gaming do for Kentucky Residents?" The answer is simple, it will provide a greater revenue stream for Kentucky. Thus enabling the government of the commonwealth to do more for the people without raising taxes.

Where will the money go? Well if we, the citizens of the Commonwealth, do our job as good citizens and hold our legislators feet to the fire, it will go where 'We the People' determine it is most needed. If they fail to do what we desire we can simply vote those legislators out and vote new ones in. Let us NEVER forget that government is the SERVANT of the people and the people determine what the government can and cannot do. If you doubt that sit down and take a serious read of the State and Federal Constitutions. They say exactly what they mean and mean exactly what they say. Sadly, of late, 'We the people' have failed in our duty to demand OUR will be done and not the will of our elected officials. That is our fault and we need to correct it!

Right now thee are poker games, black jack games, dice games, roulette games, and one and on going on in Kentucky. YES I MEAN RIGHT NOW! I don't care what time of the day you are reading this or what day of the week it is they are going on RIGHT NOW! Who is profiting from this 'underground gaming'? The criminal element within the commonwealth that does not pay taxes or contribute to the welfare of your community, or for that matter, any community within the state!

Remember the 'roaring twenties'? Prohibition? Who profited from that law that banned the sale of alcohol? Organized crime that's who. Who profits from the back room gaming that goes on daily in the Commonwealth? It is NOT the citizens of the Commonwealth. Of that you can be assured.

Facts are facts and they are these:

1. Gamblers are going to gamble regardless of the laws on the books.
2. We can go with the current system that lets adjoining states and the criminals profit from our lack of action.
3. We can act to correct the problem by electing a Governor who will sign expanded gaming into law.

Are you a Kentuckian or are you an out-of-stater? Do you want to improve the lot of your fellow Kentuckians or do you just not care?

Are YOU ready to stand up? The future of the Commonwealth of Kentucky is in your hands!

This Republican believes that Steve Beshear can, lead the Commonwealth forward and provide significant and tangible benefits to the citizens of the state!

Hendrickson the CLEAR winner

SEPT 27 2007

Bruce Hendrickson clearly held his own against incumbent Tray Grayson in the Secretary of State Debate tonight. Among the issues discussed was the "Party Ticket Issue" Grayson opposed allowing Kentucky voters the option of voting a straight ticket, Mr. Hendrickson eloquently touted the virtues of a straight ticket.

After all if you agree with the platform of a particular party why shouldn't you be able to express that agreement with the simple push of a button? Hendrickson also came out in strong favor of a voter receipt.

That is to say that even with a paper ballot touted by Grayson Mr. Hendrickson would still provide the voter with a paper receipt reflecting their choices at the polls. Citing the receipt you get at Wal-Mart Mr Hendrickson stated why should voters be denied the same benefit at the polls? If you will recall Grayson opposed any sort of receipt for voters and apparently still does.

Mr. Hendrickson clearly wants to re enfranchise the voters in Kentucky and give the individuals control over the polls and not have the polling place able to control the vote. Overall Mr. Hendrickson was brief in his answers and to the point. The fact that he firmly believes that the people should control the government and that Government should be the servant of the people came through loud and clear.

Kentucky Republicans for Steve Beshear

No this is not the Louisville [rumored but no action] version of the Republicans for Beshear. In London town [Ernie is trash] the governor is not particularly popular [Rogers has went fishing]. Today we concoct a real true movement for Steve Beshear. The retroaction? [who cares]

I have been exposed to the Conservative Edge for 6 months [oh boy] and the snobbishness of Goettl's analysis [rubbish] is tormenting. Republicans in this state [Commonwealth] need to unburden themselves from Ernie Fletcher [please!].

I will be voting for Steve Beshear. I am having a sign made showing my support [big and green]. We will display the sign in London [somewhere].

Governor Fletcher is a bullet riddled mess

Governor Ernie Fletcher [I thought was a great governor in 04] has been [figuratively speaking of course] kicked, beat, drug through the mud, thrown over a cliff, and our GOP is painting on a brave face [doomed]. I asked myself a question in 2005, can Governor Fletcher win reelection [no, no, no!] ?

I am a GOP'er for Steve Beshear. Shocked!? Well you shouldn't be [all good things come to an end]

Republican in Kentucky is voice of reason among the lame ass proponents and opponents of Republican politics in Kentucky. I have lived in Kentucky for 3 years and a few months [Kentucky is beautiful]. Our Grand Old Party is in shambles [short lived success] in Kentucky.
